ABSTRACT
During natural gas trunk line transmission system long-term operation, it is-periodically necessary to make selective repairsof pipeline sections. In this case, the goal is toreduce natural gas emissions by venting gas to atmosphere before
maintenance. The article discussespossiblegas compressor circuits for trunk line section pump-down before repair activities using different type in-line compressors of the compressor station to implement energy saving. Authors offer energy efficient recommendations when using large-diameter gas trunk line pump-down before repairs.

ABSTRACT
The article shows that a centralized representation of effective methodological approaches for creation of complex technical systems (CTS) is optimally formed and economically sound plan for research and development work (R&D work). The formation of an optimal plan of R&D on improvement or creation of new types of CTS is considered, which is the justification of technical and economic feasibility of the replacement of one sample to others, determining the optimal
time of this replacement, the optimal number of such replacements and the optimal cost for the development taking into account the risk of the customer during the programmed period. To solve the problem of R&D plan optimization its decomposition is proposed into three independent, but inter-related tasks, consistently, logically deriving one from the other.
KEYWORDS: complex technical systems, R&D plan, linearly - dynamic programming, optimization task, technical progress, depreciation ,mathematical model, financial realizability.

ABSTRACT
Oils and greases used in various industries in conditions of high humidity and in the presence of contamination can undergo microbiological damage. The degree of contamination of lubricating oils by microorganisms depends on conditions of their storage and transportation and due to these conditions the qualitative as well as quantitative microflora composition changes. There has been conducted research in detection, isolation and study of hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms in some lubricating oils (I-12A, M-8, M-10, M-12, T-46, AK-15) stored in different conditions. It is shown that the presence of microflora is mainly represented by bacterial forms. It revealed that the isolated strains compared with the test organisms in laboratory collection more intensively strike the studied oils. In laboratory experiments the changes (increase) of the number of isolates bacterial cultures were evaluated during the experiment. It is shown that the highest activity was observed for cultures of Pseudomonas fluorecenses, the lowest is for cultures of Mycobacterium lacticolum.
KEYWORDS: oils, bio-deterioration, bacteria, hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms.

ABSTRACT
Article is devoted to residual resource evaluation of main gas pipelines prone to stress corrosion after their major overhaul and restoration by hydraulic tests of boost pressure (by the «stress test»). As a result of research the authors have
identified deformation speed change pattern of the pipes with stress-corrosion at elevated pressure loading. A formula for residual resource assessment of gas pipelines is proposed after major overhaul and restoration by the method of stress test.
KEYWORDS: residual resource, gas pipeline, stress corrosion.
