ABSTRACT
This article studies the stress-strain state (SSS) of elevated crossing of the main gas pipeline (MG) «Chelyabinsk-Petrovsk» with a diameter of 1420 mm. Elevated crossing of MG is built of bends of cold bending (BCB). Restrictions on the use of BCB in the construction of elevated crossings in the regulatory documents are not discovered, but in practice the performance is quite rare. In the process the study describes the project and Executive documentation on this site of MG, the analysis of pigging data (PD), and external examination of an elevated crossing. A number of inaccuracies in the design and deviations from regulatory requirements have been revealed during the construction of  an elevated crossing of MG, which led to the formation of high stresses in the metal of the pipeline. Recommendations are given for further monitoring of the SSS of the site of elevated transition of MG.

ABSTRACT
Article is devoted to the deposition of particles in isotropic turbulent flow. It discusses the mechanisms and models of turbulent deposition of particles on the wall. It is shown that on deposition of particles a tangible influence has the ratio of the particle size and scale of the turbulent fluctuations. On the basis of experimental data, the dependence of the specific energy dissipation and scale of turbulent fluctuations from the volume fraction of the particles were expressed by empirical correlations. The numerical solutions more accurately reflect the pattern of precipitation.
KEYWORDS: turbulence, energy dissipation, particle deposition, turbulent flow, coalescence.
